    We were backpackers staying their for seasonal work and the owner overcharged us by lots. Discovered this a few months in when some Australians moved into a larger caravan paying 100 dollars a week less than us. As far as I could tell the owner AJ figures backpackers are not repeat business so he will squeeze you for whatever he can.

    I advise anyone considering staying at the Golden Grain not to be put off by the previous review. I stayed in one of the caravans for 3 months and never had any problems. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the rate for the caravan was very reasonable. I really enjoyed my stay at the Golden Grain and would highly recommend it!
